We have vision of church planting in Tokyo. Tokyo is a very complex city. Our target is younger generation, especially university students and young professionals. Now we have mainly two services on Sunday, morning service for Japanese and afternoon service for Korean. Recently I wondered if this style is really fitted to our church members. Japanese congregation is mainly young and singles. In contrast, Korean congregation is mainly family. We know young people are hard to attend morning service, but seniors are easy to attend. I found our church style is opposite to their life style. I found we need to exchange service time. In a few months, we’ll start to change our church in terms of service time so that more Japanese can join our church service and bible study.
